What's with the red box? :p

Yup. Probably vanity plates, or at least to the extent Brazil will allow vanity plates to go.

I like to imagine it spells out Bavarian AutoWerks

Yeah, not a hint of patina anywhere on that car. Super clean stock wheels, super clean stock interior, super clean stock stance, and yet it didn't look like a garage queen. This is a car that gets driven at least on a semi regular basis.

Exactly! what is it for?

Oh, it's a fire extinguisher. These red boxes are a kind of improvisation to be honest, because of a night club that caught fire in Santa Maria a while ago, and there was only one narrow door, and no fire extinguishers in the premises and nearly 300 people burned to death, so now you see fire extinguishers every 5 feet in most buildings here. And that red box is like a whole kit, you buy the easy to install box, the signs, the extinguisher, all in one sit!

Wow, something similar hapoened in Mexico in a nightclub, but those kits are pretty good when it gets rough
